A US federal judge has ruled that a jury trial will begin in spring 2026 in the case of billionaire Musk against artificial intelligence company OpenAI. Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the Northern District of California, who is presiding over the case, last month rejected Musk's request to suspend OpenAI's transition to a for-profit model and proposed to speed up the trial.
According to Sina Finance, on Friday local time, a US federal judge ruled that Musk's lawsuit against artificial intelligence company OpenAI will start a jury trial in the spring of 2026. Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the Federal District Court for the Northern District of California, who is presiding over the case, rejected Musk's request to suspend OpenAI's transformation to a for-profit model last month and proposed to speed up the trial process.
